The letter claimed that Richard had discovered irregular financial transfers from a private account Daniel had once shared with Emily.
The transfers had occurred shortly before their separation.
And one of the largest payments had gone to a law firm that had represented Daniel during the divorce.
Daniel read the amount twice.

He had never authorized it.
His expression hardened.
