My Fiancée Walked Down the Aisle in an Oversized Old Suit – When I Saw the Writing on the Label, simo I Broke Down in Tears

About half an hour before the ceremony, one of Claire’s bridesmaids, Jenna, hurried past us.

She looked stressed.

I leaned out into the hallway.

“Is everything okay?”

Jenna stopped.

For one strange second, she looked like she was trying to decide what she was allowed to say.

Then she nodded. “Yeah. Claire’s fine.”

That wasn’t exactly what I had asked.

But she walked away before I said so.

Aaron appeared beside me. “What was that?”

“I have no idea.”

Still, I wasn’t worried. Not really.

Claire and I had talked through every serious thing I could think of before getting married.

Money. Children. Careers. Where we’d live.

How much we wanted family involved in our lives.

Neither of us was running.

By the time the ceremony started, I was nervous in the good way.

Everyone took their seats.

My mom was in the first row.

The chair next to her was empty.
