The room changed the moment the video reached 2:38.

Not dramatically.

Not loudly.

“What did you see?” I whispered.

My sister was still standing near the destroyed cake, laughing with a few guests.

She had no idea.

“Take Sawyer somewhere safe,” Cormac said.

My eyes moved toward my nephew.
